The Hunter Valley is the Birthplace of Australian Wine

As Australia’s oldest wine region, the PKF Hunter Valley Wine Show was the first regional wine show, originally held in 1847. Respected nationally, our modern show has run continuously since 1973, recognising and celebrating excellence in Hunter Valley winemaking.

Judging at the PKF Hunter Valley Wine Show is considered especially prestigious and we have always attracted the highest calibre of Australian and International judges.

The PKF Hunter Valley Wine Show has been at the forefront of many innovations, such as the focus on single vineyard wines, use of Riedel glassware, rigorous auditing systems and the use of digital scoring. Many of these innovations have been adopted by other wine shows as best practice.

Trophies and medals awarded by the PKF Hunter Valley Wine Show are highly regarded by the wine industry, media & consumers alike.
